Westminster Area Lacrosse. WAX is affiliated with the Westminster Area Recreation Council and the Carroll County Department of Recreation and Parks. This program is supported by the City of Westminster Recreation Department.
 
Our Mission is to ensure a unified and responsive organization that develops and promotes the sport by providing services to its players and families in an effort to inspire participation, while preserving the integrity of the game.
 
We can't fully live up to the mission without our members help and support.  We realize that the Westminster Area Lacrosse program will always have room for improvement.  We have been able to achieve unprecedented success with respect to our program as a result of the support from our coaches, volunteers, families and players.
 
The Westminster Area Lacrosse-WAX is a youth program for beginners and experienced players.  WAX provides an instructional pockets program for boys and girls ages 5-6.  Boys and Girls ages 7-8 play in a Carroll County League with limited travel.  Boys and Girls ages 9-14 will compete in the MARYLAND YOUTH LACROSSE ASSOCIATION. The lacrosse season runs from March through June. Thank you for your interest in WAX!
